Portraits
As a queer woman, I aspire to create inclusive spaces to showcase queer identities authentically. I love to take portraits that tell a story about a person and a location. I especially love photographing people in nature and adventurous locations.
Motorsports
I'm a fan of motorsports, especially GT endurance racing. I like to travel to races each year as a photographer. Capturing crisp images of race cars in motion is a very fun challenge!
Wildlife
When I'm travelling, I'm usually travelling with a camera. I get out into nature as much possible with each trip, and I try to seize every opportunity to capture memorable photos of local wildlife.
About me
My name is Kendra Plante and I'm a photographer based in Silver Spring, Maryland. I have been practicing photography in some form since my childhood, but my interest really took off in 2023 when I began practicing motorsports photography. My primary interest now is portraits, especially of folks within the queer community. As a queer woman myself, I understand the importance of positive representation, and I strive to embody that in my work.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and figure skating.
