About Me

My name is Kendra Plante and I’m a photographer based in Silver Spring, Maryland. I specialize in portraits and motorsports photography.

I’m a queer woman who has been active in local LGBT+ spaces for most of my life. I find a lot of beauty in work that showcases queer identities authentically and I aspire to that in my own work.

I’m a huge fan of sports car racing, especially GT endurance racing, so in addition to photographing portraits, I often travel to racing events to photograph them as a fan. You can find albums of all of my work, including these events, on Flickr.

Outside of photography, I love hiking and traveling. Although I am usually traveling with a camera :)
